“ This is the best barbershop in the city. A gift card from here is one of the best presents you can give a gentleman in your life. Aside from the relaxing hot towel shaves they’re most known for, they do classic, natural cuts that grow out nicely between appointments, so it’s great for anyone with short cropped hair. They also sell a bunch of Proraso products you won’t find anywhere, including fantastic gift sets. I pop by their shop to get fancy toothpaste and my HG cream pomade, but I always end up browsing for like 20 minutes and getting 3 other things because they’re always bringing in new and interesting products. I also highly recommend the sensitive skin proraso cream in the white tube for ladies. It’s just great to support a small, local business run by a true New Yorker with kind and welcoming staff, so I can’t recommend it enough ”
